Lincoln Property Company Sets the Standard for Portfolio-Wide Energy Efficiency
Georgia Power Recognizes Firm as Top-Performing Contractor
Lincoln Property Company is leading the commercial real estate industry in energy efficiency through a portfolio-wide approach. The firm today announces it has been honored with the 2025 Contractor Award for Overall Top-Performing Large Company by Georgia Power, recognizing the company’s leadership in delivering scalable, value-driven energy solutions across its managed portfolio.
“This recognition reflects Lincoln’s commitment to delivering measurable value for our clients through smart, forward-thinking energy solutions,” said Chris Lelle, Senior Operations Manager with Lincoln Property Company. “By partnering closely with Georgia Power, property owners and tenants, our teams can implement projects that reduce energy use, improve building performance, and return real dollars to owners’ bottom lines. This award underscores our belief that energy efficiency is not just a sustainability initiative; it is a strategic business advantage.”
Lincoln has distinguished itself by taking a performance-driven approach to energy efficiency, integrating engineering expertise, data analytics and utility coordination to move beyond isolated upgrades and deliver consistent results across diverse property types. As a preferred and registered Georgia Power contractor, Lincoln works proactively to identify, implement and optimize projects that qualify for energy rebates, returning capital directly to property owners and tenants while reducing long-term operating expenses.
Across its portfolio, Lincoln has executed a wide range of initiatives, including LED lighting upgrades and advanced lighting controls; variable frequency drives for pumps and fans; efficient elevator motor control systems; and building tune-ups led by Lincoln’s in-house engineering teams. These efforts are supported by advanced analytics that monitor and optimize building automation systems, as well as energy-efficient tenant construction improvements, smart thermostat installations and major mechanical system upgrades, including chiller replacements—all designed to maximize performance, efficiency and rebate eligibility.
The award validated Lincoln’s ability to translate strategy into repeatable, long-term performance across its portfolio. Through close collaboration with Georgia Power, property owners and occupants, Lincoln continues to advance energy reduction, operational efficiency and financial outcomes across its portfolio.
Lincoln formally received the award at a Georgia Power ceremony on December 10.
