With over 30 years of land development, construction, and project management experience, Rusty Coan brings in-depth market knowledge to his work as Vice President of Development for Lincoln Property Company’s Data Center team.  He is a results-driven professional with a positive track record and working relationships with owners, design consultants, and vendors/contractors, resulting in exceptional product delivery experience for clients and partners. 

Rusty is focused on Lincoln’s ground-up data center developments and potential land pursuits. His responsibilities include site acquisition consultation and land planning services; partnering with various government entities to obtain jurisdictional, zoning and code approvals; acting as client representation in zoning and variance hearings; design and consultant coordination; budget forecasting; contract negotiation; and providing day-to-day communication with the project team to ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget. 

Rusty has managed a broad range of project types from both the owner and consultant viewpoints, including hyperscale and co-lo data centers, big-box retail, fuel centers, grocery, hospitality, restaurant, medical/life science, higher education, mixed use developments, and corporate facilities.
