PHILADELPHIA, PA – Lincoln Property Company (“Lincoln”) is pleased to announce that Charles (“Charley”) McGrath – a veteran institutional real estate executive with more than two decades of development, capital markets, and investment experience – has joined the firm as Executive Vice President, Pennsylvania.

In this role, McGrath will lead Lincoln’s growth initiatives across Pennsylvania, overseeing efforts to expand the firm’s integrated platform spanning development, acquisitions, leasing, and property management. He will focus on identifying value creation opportunities across asset classes, with particular emphasis on industrial development, powered-land opportunities, office investments anchored by universities and healthcare systems, and strategic solutions for distressed assets.

“Charley’s experience, market knowledge, and deep relationships throughout Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic make him an exceptional addition to our team,” said Brandon Ernst, Senior Executive Vice President and Mid-Atlantic Market Leader, Lincoln. “His unique background across development, capital markets, acquisitions, and asset strategy aligns perfectly with our long-term vision for growth in Pennsylvania.”

McGrath brings more than two decades of commercial real estate experience to Lincoln. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Executive Managing Director at Newmark, where he co-led the Philadelphia capital markets platform and advised institutional clients on complex investment sales and structured finance transactions across industrial, office, and residential assets throughout the region.

Prior to Newmark, McGrath focused on the expansion of Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets practice across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. In that role, he delivered full-cycle capital markets services – including asset valuation, investment advisory, and transactional execution – across all major property types, working closely with ownership groups, institutional investors, and private capital to drive transaction velocity and market coverage.

Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, McGrath spent 17 years with MRP Realty, where he established and led the firm’s Northeast office. During his tenure, he oversaw the underwriting, acquisition, financing, development, leasing, and disposition of nearly 6.9 million SF of real estate representing more than $2.2 billion in investment value. This track record was built alongside many of the industry’s most sophisticated institutional investors, including KKR, Goldman Sachs, Barings, BGO, Partners Group and Fortress.

“Lincoln has built one of the industry’s most respected fully integrated real estate platforms in the Country,” said McGrath. “The opportunity to help grow the firm’s presence across Pennsylvania while delivering creative solutions for clients, investors, and communities is incredibly exciting. I’m looking forward to working alongside Lincoln’s talented professionals to expand our capabilities, deepen our platform’s impact, and create lasting value throughout the region.”

McGrath’s career has also included development and leasing roles in New York, Chicago, and San Francisco, providing him with broad experience across major U.S. markets and asset types, with an early career emphasis on education and healthcare real estate development – including medical centers, life science R&D facilities, and hospital-anchored medical office development.

He holds a Master of Architecture, magna cum laude, from The Catholic University of America with a concentration in real estate economics and has been recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as a “40 Under 40” honoree and by Bisnow as one of Washington, D.C.’s “35 Under 35” commercial real estate professionals.
