Lincoln Property Company Expands Leadership Team for Corporate Advisory & Solutions Business
Industry Corporate Services Executives Norman Bertke and Laura Harkin Join Lincoln to Grow Firm’s Occupier-Focused Business
Lincoln Property Company (“Lincoln”), a global, full-service real estate firm, announced that it made strategic hires to expand the leadership team for the firm’s Corporate Advisory & Solutions (“CAS”) business. Norman “Norm” Bertke joined Lincoln as Executive Managing Director, Head of Corporate Advisory & Solutions, and Laura Harkin joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Advisory & Solutions.
With more than four decades of combined experience working in the commercial real estate industry, Mr. Bertke and Ms. Harkin are well respected leaders in the corporate services sector. Both join Lincoln from CBRE, where they were instrumental in the establishment and growth of CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions Local business in the US.
In their new roles, they will partner with existing Lincoln leadership to lead the CAS business. Lincoln’s CAS business provides comprehensive real estate services tailored to the unique needs of corporate occupiers, including facilities management, project management, transaction and lease management, strategic planning, site selection, and more.

“This new role with Lincoln offered an opportunity to be a part of a firm with a storied legacy and a strong reputation, which Laura and I plan to tap into in our pursuit of growing the CAS business,” shared Mr. Bertke. “Our combined experience in managing a localized corporate services business will help us to strategically grow Lincoln’s current real estate advisory and services implementation platform, which already services clients across many industries, including healthcare, financial services, higher education, manufacturing and logistics.”
While at CBRE, Mr. Berke held various positions and most recently served as Division Vice President for CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) Local business. As a founding member of the team that established the GWS Local business in 2019, Norm helped lead the business to over 500% growth over five years. In this role, he oversaw the GWS Local team in the Eastern and Central U.S., leading all business development activities and operational delivery, including completing the team’s first acquisition and entry into the Canadian market. Prior to this, Mr. Bertke served as an executive for CBRE’s Asset Services business where he oversaw 300 million square feet of property and hundreds of client accounts. Norm earned a M.S. in Management from the University of Southern California and earned his B.S. in English from the United States Airforce Academy. He was a Captain in the U.S. Air Force for five years where he was involved in the acquisition of space systems.
Ms. Harkin spent 14 years with CBRE and most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer for CBRE’s GWS Local Americas business. In this role, she was responsible for all business operations, programs, strategy and process development and delivery. Laura’s responsibilities also included oversite of Health & Safety, Procurement and ESG. Prior to this, she was Managing Director, Programs and Strategy for CBRE’s GWS Local business, helping to develop the business infrastructure and governance model to allow for rapid growth and scalability across the Americas. Laura also brings deep experience from her time with CBRE’s enterprise business, where she led the successful mobilization of dozens of large, high-profile global accounts. She earned a M.S. in Communication from Pepperdine University and a B.A. in Public relations from the University of Nevada.
